We usually begin the description of our Hotel as 'the heart of the Garden Route'...but we're not actually describing the location of this beautiful historic landmark - yes, that too, but actually it really embodies the heart, soul and conquering spirit of our Wilderness village and soul soothing lakes/forest/sea valley. We re-opened the Hotel under new management in April'14 after a 3 year closure. New beginnings and an exciting, but long journey of renovations, re-marketing and re-establishing the Grand Lady!

Ideal for guests travelling the Garden Route, this hotel is situated in the town of Wilderness and impresses with its quiet location and friendly service.

Set halfway between George and Knysna, Wilderness Resort Hotel offers countless facilities. Start the day with a swim in the outdoor pool. After a day of relaxing on the beach you can play a game of outdoor chess or miniature golf.
